Our History

Glen Alspaugh

Glen Alspaugh Kitchens & Baths was founded in 1951 by Glen Alspaugh. With an entrepreneurial spirit and aspiration to become the premier kitchen and bath firm in the region, Mr. Alspaugh moved to St. Louis to open his business at a location in University City. After one year of operation, an opportunity arose to relocate the company to the heart of Ladue. This popular and affluent St. Louis location remains the home of Glen Alspaugh Kitchens & Baths, proudly serving customers across the Midwest.

Five years into his business endeavor, Mr. Alspaugh added an institutional division to the company that supplied the reputable St. Charles Kitchens cabinetry for many of the area hospitals, schools, laboratories, and other commercial locations. Over the years, his strong work ethic was evident as he achieved many top sales awards with St. Charles Kitchens.

In 1983, the company formed a partnership consisting of five dedicated employees from within the firm. The partnership includes: Thomas G. Bourgeois (Managing Partner and Residential Division Manager), Richard K. Willie (Institutional Division Manager), Donald Williams, Jim Watt, and Delmar Gross.

Glen Alspaugh's mission of experienced planning, quality organization, superior customer service, and fine products has attributed to the company's success for over 50 years. Although today's kitchens are extremely detailed and the options seem endless, the hardworking ethics of Mr. Alspaugh are still an integral part of the company as we continue to provide unsurpassed design, the best products in the industry, quality service, and expert installation to exceed our customers' expectations.
