This open kitchen uses dual islands in a distressed black finish as the main workhorses of the kitchen.  Two elevations of tall cabinetry complete the layout, using a contrasting taupe paint with a black glaze.  The Sub-Zero column refrigerator and freezer are both paneled with mullion-framed mirror doors to mimic the adjacent exterior French doors.
