White cabinets, and white marble counters expand the space in this open kitchen.  The darker wood floors contrast with the white to ground the space.  A white wood paneled ceiling adds subtle texture, while reinforcing the upward expanded feeling.  Extra deep 32″ counters allow for deeper base and wall cabinets, gaining just a touch more storage.  Arched door panels were repeated from adjacent spaces and used as accents on the island ends, above the refrigerator and the hood.
